[머니투데이 스타뉴스 전형화 기자] 톱스타 정우성의 감독 데뷔가 내년으로 연기될 전망이다.
정우성 소속사 싸이더스HQ의 한 관계자는 11일 "정우성의 감독 데뷔 일정이 내년으로 연기될 것"이라고 밝혔다. 배우로서 감독을 목표로 하고 있는 정우성은 올 해 안에 감독으로 데뷔하겠다고 공개적으로 밝힌 바 있다.
실제로 정우성은 '중천' 촬영이 끝난 뒤 영화 프로듀서와 함께 프리 프로덕션 작업을 진행했다.
이에 대해 이 관계자는 "중국에서 '중천' 촬영을 너무 고되게 한 터라 정우성이 많이 지친 상태"라며 "내부적으로 상의한 끝에 좀 더 준비를 철저히 해서 내년 초에 본격적으로 시작할 계획"이라고 설명했다.
이 관계자는 "영화를 한 편 더 찍고 감독 데뷔를 준비할 지, 아니면 곧바로 감독 데뷔를 준비할 지 여러가지 방안을 놓고 상의 중"이라고 말했다.
지난 해 11월부터 6개월 여 동안 중국에서 고된 촬영을 했던 정우성은 지난 8월말 미국 샌프란시코에 있는 지인의 집에 휴가를 떠난 상태. 충전이 끝나는 대로 귀국할 예정이다.
